Our brand new lampshades are finally on the website (totally my fault-needed the time to do it all). So I've now taken the photographs I needed and you can view and buy them HERE.
I thought I'd give you a bit of background on how this new product came about. I'm still on a high since I received the bolts of my own designed and printed fabric, and I've been working hard experimenting with them and creating new things.
Doing lampshades was never something I'd thought of, but one day after scrolling through Instagram I came across this local business called Ted & Rose. The photograph was of some beautifully made lampshades in a gorgeous Humpty Dumpty fabric which I had seen before and loved. I suddenly thought about lampshades in my fabrics; so I contacted Karen the owner.
I met with Karen and it turns out not only does she live in my old village, but I've known her for years! Such a small world. Karen loved my fabrics and said they'd work perfectly as shades. So we set out a plan and she made some up for me.
When I collected them I nearly died- they just looked so good. Karen is so neat and professional, they were perfect.
The shades are 12 inches in diameter and can be ordered either as a ceiling shade or table lamp. They look perfect in either situation. They are made to order so please allow 7-10 working days to receive them.
The lampshades look perfect in nurseries, bedrooms and halls. They'd be a fun present for new parents decorating, animal lovers or for a child's birthday.
