Hi Everyone,
So the weekend before last I had the pleasure of attending the new Southwest Handmade Fair at Bowood House, Calne. I not only had a stand but was in the Janome Tent again, twice a day, teaching Fabric Baskets and Dressmaking Tips and Tricks to loads of wonderful people.

I caught up with so many crafty friends, including the amazingly talented water-colourist Harriet de Winton, who was also doing workshops. She's a wonderful person to be around and she also painted this years show map!

I love having a stand at the fair, but sort of neglected it this year as I was teaching so much. Sorry to those of you who bought from me and I didn't get to chat to. I hope you liked chatting to my Mum instead. And thank you Mum for being so amazing and manning the stand all weekend.
So I only seemed to take photos of my fabric basket workshops. I'm not sure why, but there was a lot more technical parts to the dressmaking tips, so many I was concentrating on helping everyone far too much. Both workshops were so much fun, and everyone who came, Thank you. You were all wonderful, smiley people, and you really made my weekend.
Working in the Janome tent is one of the best things I get to do in my career. And to make it even better I get to work with my sparkly, flower, rainbow fairy friend Stacey Chapman. She's just a bundle of happiness that I wish I could bottle up! She's an incredibly talented free motion artist and you should be following her! (Search Art Sea Craft Sea). This year we had more volunteers too, who were so much fun. And I can't forget Julia who was our Janome knowledge owl for the weekend. I was so happy to meet her and I'm sure we'll get to work together again in the future.

Thank you to everyone who came to my workshops. Thank you to everyone who bought handmade items from my stand. Thank you to Janome, Stacey, Julia, all the volunteers and The Handmade Fair Team for a great weekend.
Now I better get back to work!
Happy Handmade!
